It’s never been more important than now for Dorset Council to listen to our residents. By bringing voices together we can address issues, build connections, and create positive change.
‘A Big Conversation’ aims to create meaningful dialogue with our residents and communities, to see what you want from the council over the next 5 years.

Our first and only event in July will be at Bridport on Wednesday 24th!

The next events in August will be starting in Dorchester. We will also be visiting Wimborne Minster, Portland, Shaftesbury and Wareham.
- Dorchester (Food and Arts Festival) Saturday 3rd August: 10am to 3pm
- Wimborne Minster (Town Square) Friday 16th August: 9am to 2pm
- Portland (Easton Gardens) Saturday 24th August: 10am to 3pm
- Shaftesbury (Town Market) Thursday 29th August: 9.30am to 2.30pm
- Wareham (The Quay) Saturday 31st August: 8am to 1pm

If you are unable to attend an event, do not worry! You can take part in the activities at your local library. Staff will be there to support you online, or through a paper version.
